Prof. Galassi and Prof Sianos performed live case studies using Coracto

Prof. George Sianos from A.H.E.P.A. Hospital University in Greece and Prof. Alfredo R. Galassi from Ferrarotto Hospital University in Catania, Italy attended the 17th National Applied Invasive Cardiology Congress held in Turkey as guests. Prof. Sianos and Prof. Galassi performed live cases using Coracto stents on CTO patients and their operations were broadcasted live during the Congress’ sessions.

Prof. Galassi successfully implanted two Coracto stents respectively; one was applied to a total occlusion case that occurred in RCA and another one was implanted into a different lesion in the LAD utilizing the Szabo technique.

During an interview made with him after the operation, Prof. Galassi said that he was extremely satisfied with Coracto -Rapamycin eluting stent’s performance. Prof. George Sianos – immediately after Prof. R. Virmani’s speech- along with the performances of the stents that he respectively implanted into the left main coroner in the pre-trifurcation area and another one into the second diagonal branch, said that the results of studies conducted on the stent are also very impressive.
