Simulation Training is Sponsored by Alvimedica

Interventional Cardiology Simulation Training which has been conducted in partnership of Ministry of Health and Turkish Cardiology Association was given on 24-25 December at Cardiology Simulation Training Center in Mehmet Akif Ersoy Hospital and it was sponsored by Alvimedica.

The Simulation Training Center was established on January 2010 by Dr.Cem Bozkurt CEO of Alvimedica, Ass.Prof.Ihsan Bakır Chief of Staff of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Hospital, Prof.Dr.Omer Kozan Secretary General at Turkish Cardiology Association and from Cardiology Department at Dokuz Eylul University Hospital

Courses will be given theoretically and practically, and will include PCA process on simulator, a PCA (percutan coronary attempt) operation with real materials on dummy heart that will be under scopy, trials of various bifurcation stenting techniques on taansparent coronary artery model and a material training course for all materials used during PCA.

This training center is the first simulation training center in Turkey that is established in a hospital.
