The guiding, diagnostic and balloon catheters manufactured at Alvimedica are designed and developed in its own R&D laboratories. The technology utilized during the product development is evolved within the company and supported by the high-quality know-how that the company has transferred from other 3rd parties. The catheters are designed in a way that will reduce trauma rates, associated risks, operational costs, implantation time and post-implantation patient care. The stents are custom-manufactured to meet the requirements of specific vein and lesion types. With these features the catheters provide an increased benefit to the doctors and a higher rate of success in treatment. With the features mentioned above, the catheters also increase patient adaptation rates and significantly improve patients’ quality of life.

Alvimedica’s catheter product group consists of: diagnostic and guiding catheters respectively: Alvision and Alviguide, balloon catheters: Turquoise™ and Invader™ PTKA, CTO catheter: Invader™ CTO, other case-specific catheters: Invader NC and Invader OTW. With the features gained through advanced manufacturing techniques, these catheters increase clinical success rates by giving doctors a chance of treating cases in their given conditions.
