Rapamycin is used as antiproliferative drug as an active ingredient material of CORACTO. Constant has goos radial strength due to its design and material properties. Constant stent design has quite flexibility to reach tortuous lesion characteristics. It is more flexible than many contemporary stents. The stent material is 316LVM stainless steel. The material has been using as stent material since years and it’s proved that is safe for human health.
Coraxel, Paclitaxel-Eluting Coronary Stent Delivery System, has a biocompatible dual coating layer composed of an athrombogenic coating as the base layer that provides permanent protection and promotes re-endothelization, and above a polymer matrix which is totally biodegradable and incorporated with Paclitaxel.
Paclitaxel is an anti-proliferative drug that has shown to effectively reduce neointimal hyperplasia. Controlled drug release mechanism of Coraxel assures that 100% of the drug is released in 8-10 weeks. Coraxel has a very low drug load which minimizes the occurrence of adverse effects and complications. System enables only 6 months of dual antiplatelet therapy.
Coraxel design enables higher flexibility to reach highly tortuous vessels and it
has open cell design which enables easy side branch access. Coraxel has thinner struts compared to the most contemporary drug eluting stents.

Cobalt chromium has higher radiopacity due to the higher density compare to stainless steel. Commander has high radial strength with thinner wall thickness than stainless steel stents due to its design and material properties.
