How can we understand if we have a Coronary Artery Disease?
When coronary arteries narrow significantly chest pains start to occur. This pain is usually provoked by exhaustion, angriness or cold and may radiate from the front of the chest to the left arm, to the neck and to the jaw. It lasts for 10-15 minutes with the feeling of a squeezed or pressed pain and goes away after taking a rest or taking medicine to enlarge the arteries. However, in some cases, there may be changes in the place of the narrowing and in such cases, the pain might occur while resting and might continue for a longer period of time. It may not respond to resting or to medicine easily. Since such pains may result in a heart attack, they are dangerous and need to be monitored carefully.
